A magnitude-3.3 earthquake struck 6 miles east-northeast of Borrego Springs in San Diego County at 6:05 a.m., according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
The depth was 11 kilometers and it was felt as far north as Coachella.
The USGS urges residents to report if they felt an earthquake by using the agency’s online form.
