A fight over a woman that started at an Oceanside bar early Friday left two men injured, two others behind bars and another being sought by police.

The altercation began inside Larry’s Beach Club at the corner of South Tremont Street and Oceanside Boulevard and continued into the street after those involved were thrown out of the bar shortly after 12:30 a.m., Oceanside police Lt. Leonard Cosby said.

Officers summoned after the fight found the two injured San Marcos men, ages 25 and 29, about a block away in the vicinity of  South Tremont and Eucalyptus streets. The older victim suffered a stab wound to his abdomen and a broken left arm. The other man sustained blunt force trauma and a laceration to his head, Cosby said.

Both victims were airlifted to Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla, he said.

Two of the three suspects, Oceanside residents Walker Neville and August Lenarz, both 21, were found nearby and arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon.

Cosby said a third suspect escaped. He was described as white, around 21 years old and about 6-foot-1 and 150 pounds.
