Five people were displaced by a fire that erupted in the attic of their Mountain View home early Tuesday but no one was injured, authorities said.
The fire at 423 Cuyamaca Ave. was reported at 1:48 a.m., according to a San Diego Fire-Rescue dispatcher.
Crews remained on scene for about an hour, she said, adding that the cause was under investigation.
