A gunman robbed a restaurant in a University City shopping mall early Monday, police said.
The robbery at Cozymel’s Coastal Mex Restaurant in Westfield UTC at 4303 La Jolla Village Drive was reported at 12:14 a.m., according to San Diego Police Officer Dino Delimitros.
No one was hurt, Delimitros said in a statement, adding that the gunman got away with an undisclosed sum of cash.
Police described the gunman as black, in his 30s, about 6 feet tall and 150 pounds, last seen wearing a black hoodie, white bandana and jeans.
