Two small earthquakes struck about five miles northeast of Borrego Springs on Sunday morning.
The first temblor was recorded at 3.7 magnitude at 5:23 a.m., according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
The second quake was magnitude 3.2 and struck less than a minute later at 5:24 a.m.
There were no immediate reports of damage or injuries, but peoples from Indio to San Diego checked in on the geological survey’s “Did You Feel
It?” website to report weak to light shaking from the bigger quake.
