A 23-year-old man was hospitalized with non-life- threatening injuries Tuesday after a fight at a party ended in gunfire, authorities said.
The fight around 9:55 p.m. Monday involved men attending a party in the 3000 block of 40th Street in the Castle neighborhood, San Diego Police Officer Robert Heims said.
The victim was shot in the back, Heims said, adding that the incident appeared to have been gang-related.
