A 20-something-year-old gunman robbed a Miramar-area business that helps wheelchair users, police said Wednesday.

The robbery at Living Spinal at 7340 Trade St. was reported at 8:33 p.m. Tuesday, according to San Diego Police Officer Dino Delimitros.

The suspect was armed with a handgun but no one was hurt, Delimitros said in a statement. The exact loss was not disclosed.

Police described him as black, 25 years old, 6 feet tall and 160 pounds, last seen wearing a dark colored baseball cap, a dark blue long-sleeved shirt and blue jeans.

According to its website, Living Spinal sells wheelchairs, wheelchair accessories and medical equipment used by those confined to a wheelchair.
