Federal officers, including investigators with a child pornography task force, served a search warrant at a Clairemont home Wednesday as part of a criminal investigation of undisclosed nature.
The agents began going through the house in the 4900 block of Gallatin Way in the early morning, according to the FBI, which took part in the search along with U.S. postal inspectors and members of the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.
There were no arrests, FBI spokesman Darrell Foxworth told reporters.
Foxworth said he could not discuss the nature of the case because it had been sealed by a judge.
Agents confiscated a laptop computer along with paperwork during the several-hour search, according to reports from the scene.
