A man was fatally struck by a vehicle while walking on a San Diego freeway early Tuesday.
The fatality on southbound Interstate 805, south of Imperial Drive in the Mountain View neighborhood, was reported at 12:14 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.
The driver, who was not injured, remained at the scene, the CHP reported.
