An investigation is under way in the South Bay, where a woman died Monday evening after being struck by several vehicles on a freeway.
A total of four vehicles were involved in the pedestrian fatality that occurred on northbound Interstate 5 at J Street about 10:40 p.m. Monday, according to the California Highway Patrol.
No other injuries were reported.
