The death of a 63-year-old woman in a San Diego hospital is being investigated Friday as a possible homicide.
Linda Sue Irwin was admitted to hospital Wednesday for treatment of injuries suffered in an alleged assault, San Diego County Sheriff’s Department Lt. John Maryon said.
The victim was allegedly assaulted in the El Cajon area between Monday and Wednesday, Maryon said.
The victim was visibly injured, but it was not known if this contributed to her death, Maryon said.
