Authorities asked the public to be on the lookout for a 12-year-old South Bay girl who went missing Wednesday.
The last known sighting of Ximena Diggs of National City was when she left Ira Harbison Elementary School on East Eighth Street shortly after 2:30 p.m., according to police.
She is described as black, 5-foot-5 and roughly 100 pounds. When last seen, she was wearing blue pants and a white polo shirt.
Anyone spotting a child matching Ximena’s description was asked to call National City police at (619) 336-4411.
