A water main broke in the La Presa area early Wednesday, sending water gushing through a residential neighborhood, authorities said.
Flooding on Maya Street near Jamacha Road was reported just before 6 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol. The agency closed Maya Street at Luther Drive until further notice.
The Otay Water District was called to fix the main.
