An investigation was under way Tuesday into a traffic collision in Imperial Beach in which a 35-year-old man on a motorcycle was killed.
The eastbound motorcycle crashed into a westbound SUV on Palm Avenue as the larger vehicle was turning south onto 10th Street around 6:10 p.m. Monday, according to San Diego County Sheriff‘s Sgt. Laura Spang.
The motorcyclist died at the scene, Spang said, adding that his name would be released after family notification.
The driver of the SUV suffered minor injuries and she was treated at the scene by paramedics, Spang said.
