A North County roadway was closed Thursday morning due to a massive sinkhole caused by a water main break, authorities said.
All northbound lanes of South El Camino Real from Oceanside Boulevard to Mesa Drive were closed around 6:40 p.m. Wednesday, according to the California Highway Patrol. The agency estimated that the closure would last throughout the morning.
The sinkhole measured 20 feet long by 13 feet wide by 10 feet deep, according to Oceanside police.
