A 21-year-old man arrested on suspicion of armed robbery was in custody Thursday, police said.
Christian Perez confessed to five armed robberies, with the latest robbery occurring Wednesday afternoon at the Carl’s Jr. restaurant at 4186 Oceanside Blvd., according to Oceanside police Lt. Aaron Doyle.
Perez was taken into custody shortly after the 3:30 p.m. holdup by OPD officers who found him hiding in some bushes with a BB gun nearby, the lieutenant said in a statement.
Details about the four other robberies were not immediately released.
