A 35-year-old man who quit breathing in Mission Bay Park Tuesday died shortly afterward.
Someone called police shortly before 6 a.m. and said that efforts to resuscitate the man were underway in the De Anza Cove area, San Diego police Officer Humberto Hernandez said.
Fire-Rescue paramedics declared him dead about 6:10 a.m., Hernandez said.
