A motorcyclist sustained serious injuries in a two- vehicle crash Saturday in San Marcos.
The motorcyclist was headed north on Bingham Street around 10:45 a.m. and crashed into a Toyota Camry. The sedan apparently turned into the bike’s path as the driver steered towards a parking lot at the corner of Bingham Street and Los Vallecitos Boulevard, sheriff’s Deputy Mark Jamason said.
The motorcyclist was ejected and sustained a compound fracture to his lower right leg, Jamason said. He was taken to a hospital to be treated.
The Toyota’s driver and passenger were not injured, Jamason said.
Jamason said traffic investigators were looking into the crash.
