San Diego police Wednesday sought to identify a hit-and-run driver who fatally struck a man in Bay Terraces.

The victim’s body was discovered near the intersection of Appian Drive and South Woodman Street around 10 p.m. Tuesday, according to San Diego Police officer Dino Delimitros.

“It appears the body had been dragged on the roadway for approximately 100 yards,” Delimitros said in a statement.
