An argument at an Escondido apartment complex escalated Saturday into stabbings that sent two 20-year-old men to a hospital and left two teenage boys under arrest.
The fracas in the 1500 block of East Grand Avenue erupted about 3 p.m., according to police.
Officers found the victims at the complex, suffering from stab wounds, Escondido Police Department Lt. Mike Kearney said. Medics took the victims — one in serious condition, the other less severely injured — to Palomar Medical Center.
Police searched the area with help from a sheriff’s helicopter crew and took the two teenagers into custody. Their names were withheld because they are minors.
