San Diego Sheriff‘s deputies are investigating the death of a man Friday afternoon at a residence in unincorporated Vista.
Deputies responding to a fire crew’s call for assistance found a man on the ground with traumatic injuries. Paramedics attempted to revive the man but were unsuccessful and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities are seeking a person of interest in the case, 37-year-old Alexander Michael Wyman, who is described as possibly armed and dangerous.
Wyman lives at the property and he and the victim were acquaintances.
The cause of death and the identity of the victim will be determined by the Medical Examiner’s Office.
