Sheriff’s homicide detectives arrested a suspect on a murder charge Saturday in the suspicious death of a man Friday on the Campo Indian Reservation in rural East County.
Teddy Pablo, 23, a resident of the reservation, was treated by paramedics but died at a house in the 36600 block of Highway 94 at 6:40 p.m., said Sheriff’s Homicide Detail Lt. Glenn Giannantonio said.
“When deputies arrived paramedics were performing CPR on a man outside a residence,” Giannantonio said. “The victim had traumatic injuries. Lifesaving efforts were unsuccessful and the victim was pronounced dead.”
The victim’s uncle, Patrick Pablo, 48, was arrested at 6:30 a.m. at the scene. He will be booked into the San Diego Central Jail on one count of murder.
