A young man who participated in the robbery of several people at gunpoint outside a San Marcos house party was sentenced Thursday to 13 years in state prison.
Judd Liulamaga, 19, was one of five men charged in connection with the April 6, 2013, armed robbery at 505 Honeyglen Drive.
Liulamaga pleaded guilty to two felony counts of second-degree robbery and a single count of assault.
Late last year, Mautofu Maiava, 20, was convicted of three counts of robbery and assault, plus gang and gun allegations. He received an enhanced sentence of nearly 75 years in prison because of a prior robbery conviction.
Johnnie Edwards, 19, was convicted of robbery counts and assault, plus hot prowl, gang and gun allegations, and was sentenced to 32 years and four months in prison.
Two other men, Sam Niu, 22, and Gregg Leauanae, 21, are set to go to trial in August.
Party guests told deputies that five men robbed them at gunpoint at about 2:50 a.m. Prosecutors said the defendants had been drinking and smoking marijuana at the time.
They were all arrested during a nearby traffic stop a short time later. Authorities said a search of their vehicle turned up property stolen during the robbery and the gun used in the holdup.
