FBI agents are calling on the public to identify a man captured in surveillance photos Friday afternoon as he robbed a U.S. Bank branch in Little Italy.
The man, according to investigators, entered the bank at 1420 Kettner Blvd. shortly before 2 p.m. and asked to open a new account. While he was seated and waiting, he handed a demand note to an employee. It said he wanted money and added that he was armed, though no weapon was seen.
The man fled after receiving an undisclosed amount of cash. He is described as being between 25 and 30 and from 5’9” to up to 6 feet tall, with a heavy build and hazel eyes.
He wore a dark cap with an ”S” on it, an olive-colored T-shirt and jeans. The clothes were also described as baggy.
