A vacant house in Vista caught fire and collapsed today.
The fire was reported about 9:15 a.m. near Sycamore Avenue and Watson Way, a North County fire dispatcher said.
Firefighters quickly contained the blaze, which had burned both the house and the brush surrounding it, the dispatcher said.
