The San Diego County Sheriff’s Bomb/Arson Unit wants your help in identifying and locating a suspect wanted for sparking arsons on the campus of Palomar College in San Marcos.
Between Dec. 2 and Feb. 21, someone deliberately set at least nine fires inside men’s restrooms in five buildings at Palomar College. The suspect used toilet paper, paper towels and toilet seat covers to start the fires. No one was hurt.
Committing arson in an occupied building or structure is a felony and is punishable by up to eight years in state prison.
