More space is coming as TailoredSpace is expanding its presence in the San Diego area with the addition of a new coworking space in Del Mar, located at 12481 High Bluff Drive, Suite 300.
The 14,412-square-foot space reflects a modern design tailored to the needs of its suburban clientele. With this new Del Mar site, TailoredSpace now operates three locations in the greater San Diego market—Carlsbad, Kearny Mesa, and Del Mar—and has additional spaces under construction in Oceanside and Solana Beach, a news release said.
“Our coworking model is doing very well in this region, which is why we’ve experienced such rapid growth. All the new sites are off to strong starts in terms of demand, tours, and memberships. The focus on securing best-in-class buildings in suburban markets continues to attract business owners and entrepreneurs who live locally. We’re a community-based operation that’s providing a convenient alternative to working from home,” said TailoredSpace Co-Founder Drew Sanden.
Located in Del Mar Heights, the coworking campus is within walking distance of One Paseo. It features more than 50 offices along with private suites with coworking desks and conference room rentals. There is also a vibrant lounge area with a bar-top, further fostering a sense of community for its members.
The Del Mar TailoredSpace is located within High Bluff Ridge, owned by PGIM Real Estate. The landlord was represented in the transaction by Joe Anderson and Brian Starck with Cushman & Wakefield, and TailoredSpace was represented by Michael Mahoney of CBRE.
“Suburban and coastal markets remain a top target for further expansion of the TailoredSpace coworking model,” Sanden said.
Founded in Southern California, the TailoredSpace coworking portfolio now totals 16 sites operating and under construction across Los Angeles, Orange, and San Diego counties as well as the Inland Empire.
