The Taste of East Village returns Wednesday and Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. in the eclectic downtown neighborhood, providing ticketholders bites, and drinks from more than 30 spots.

Attendees will receive a Taste Passport at check-in as a guide for mapping out all participating restaurants in the neighborhood and keeping track of their favorite appetizers, entrees, desserts, and beverages.

“After receiving overwhelming support with the inaugural event, we are excited to announce the second annual Taste of East Village,” said Dominic Li Mandri, district manager of the East Village Association. “East Village is a foodie oasis filled with some of San Diego’s most respected restaurants and we invite the local community to explore these unique culinary offerings and indulge in everything this neighborhood has to offer.”

From Michelin recognized faire like Lola 55 and Callie — both designated Michelin Bib Gourmand restaurants — to beloved spots like Beshock Ramen, Knotty Barrel, and Sovereign Modern Thai, the Taste of East Village will offer visitors a diverse selection, organizers said.

Upon arrival to the event, attendees will check in at their scheduled time at one of two locations, depending on the event day, where they will be given their Taste Passport. On Wednesday, guests can check in at Radian, and on Thursday check-in will be at Fairweather.

Guests will then make their way to each restaurant stop, sampling “tastes” to enjoy at their leisure, each earning a stamp on their passport.

General tickets will be available for $45, plus a service fee at TasteOfEastVillageSD.com.
