Urban developer Sudberry Properties has begun leasing apartments at The Hub at Scripps Ranch, a mixed-use redevelopment project featuring 260 modern units with supporting retail and restaurant businesses.

The 9.5-acre property is located at the gateway to Scripps Ranch at 9840 Carroll Canyon Road, just east of Interstate 15. 

“The Hub at Scripps Ranch offers modern, resort living with urban-style architecture unique to Scripps Ranch,” said Colton Sudberry, president of the company that is also developing Civita in Mission Valley.

The Hub features one- to three-bedroom apartments, ranging from 614 to 1,391 square feet, with private patios or balconies, fully-equipped kitchens and full-size washers and dryers. Rents start at $2,600 per month. 

Community amenities include a pool and outdoor lounge with a Jacuzzi, barbecues and a fire feature; a 2,053-square-foot fitness center; a club lounge with demonstration kitchen; a game room; and a media screening room.

The site was previously the location of the reservations center and flight training center for Pacific Southwest Airlines prior to its acquisition by USAir in 1988.

Construction is nearing completion, and apartment residents in the initial phases have begun moving in.

The leasing center is open Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
