Popular San Diego company, Local Roots Hard Kombucha, will celebrate the grand opening of its tap room this month in Vista.

Dubbed the “Boochyard,” owners and cousins Ryan White and Joe Carmichael said the 7,500-square foot space will serve all products and flavors including favorites such as: Cali Mule, Blood Orange Mimosa, and a specialty Hop ‘N Citrus, a collaboration with Second Chance Brew Co. The taproom will have 30-plus flavors on tap with core and experimental hard and non-alcoholic kombucha options. Cans, crowlers and growlers are all available to-go as well.

Customers can also expect a full kitchen and live music on occasional nights.

Carmichael said it made sense for the company to expand in Vista after officially launching in the city in 2019.

“Our brand-new location has been two years in the making, and we are excited to finally share our story and mission of brewing a better tomorrow with springtime and a reopening world,” Carmichael said.

White and Carmichael, who share a passion for health and wellness, brewed the business out of a love for clean eating and cold pressed juicing after family health battles with cancer and gut health.

The Boochyard is at 1430 Vantage Court in Vista. Tap Room hours are 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday, 12 p.m. to 11 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and 12 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sundays.
