The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in San Diego County dropped Thursday for the 10th consecutive day, decreasing eight-tenths of a cent to $4.152.
The average price dipped 5.4 cents over the past 10 days, including six-tenths of a cent on Wednesday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.
The decreases follow a run of 19 increases in 21 days totaling 56.3 cents, pushing the average price to its highest level since July 20, 2015.
The average price is 3.7 cents less than one week ago, but 49.4 cents more than a month ago and 31.4 cents higher than a year ago.
It has risen 81.1 cents since the start of the year.
