
The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in San Diego County dropped six-tenths of a cent Saturday to $4.175, the fifth consecutive decrease following a run of 19 increases in 21 days that pushed it to its highest amount since July 20, 2015.
The average price is 1.9 cents lower than one week ago, but 53.6 cents more than one month ago and 33.4 cents higher than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.
It has risen 85.4 cents since the start of the year.
