The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in San Diego County rose seven-tenths of a cent Monday to $3.626, its highest amount on a Labor Day since 2014.
The average price increased nine-tenths of a cent Sunday, 2.5 cents Saturday and 1.4 cents Friday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.
It is 5.5 cents more than one week ago, 4.9 cents less than one month ago, and two-tenths of a cent lower than one year ago.
