
The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in San Diego County dropped four-tenths of a cent Saturday to $3.755.
It was the third consecutive decrease.
The average price is 2.7 cents more than one week ago, 12.9 cents less than one month ago, and 9.8 cents higher than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.
A 5.6-cent per gallon tax increase for road and mass transit programs went into effect Monday.
