The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in San Diego County dropped Tuesday for the 30th consecutive day and the 42nd time in the past 43 days, decreasing 1.2 cents to $3.766, its lowest amount since April 5.
The average price has dropped 33.4 cents over the past 43 days, including four-tenths of a cent Monday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.
The average price is 7.1 cents less than one week ago and 25.6 cents lower than one month ago, but 4 cents more than one year ago.
