The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in San Diego County dropped one-tenth of a cent Monday to $4.021, one day after a streak of 12 consecutive decreases ended when it was unchanged.

The average price has dropped 7.9 cents over the past 14 days, including eight-tenths of a cent on Saturday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.

It is 3.8 cents less than one week ago and 3.9 cents less than one month ago, but 28.1 cents more than one year ago.
