The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in San Diego County dipped one-tenth of a cent Saturday to $3.282.

The average price had increased for seven of the past eight days, including six-tenths of a cent Friday. Prior to that, seven consecutive decreases totaling 4 cents had dropped the average price to its lowest amount since Jan. 16, 2018.

The average price is 3.8 cents more than one week ago, but 1.7 cents less than one month ago and 14.2 cents lower than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.
