Mission Federal Credit Union has moved it’s administrative offices to Scripps Ranch after more than 30 years in Sorrento Mesa.
The credit union, which is the largest local financial institution exclusively serving San Diego County, is now located in a three-building complex at 10325 Meanley Drive.
The company said two of the three buildings will provide collaborative work space for Mission Fed’s administrative employees while the third will be leased pending possible future use.
The credit union purchased the Horizon Tech Center late last year for a reported $39.5 million.
When Mission Fed moved into Sorrento Mesa in late 1985, it had 125 employees and 47,000 customers. Now it has 550 employees and 238,000 customers.
“This is a truly a Mission Fed Moment for all of us,” said Debra Schwartz, president and CEO. “Thanks to our customers’ loyalty and trust, we’ve grown a great deal over three decades. The new campus is a combined work space for administrative employees who for many years had been working at separate buildings across town from each other.
The credit union operates 31 branches has over $3.5 billion in assets.
