The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in San Diego County dropped Monday for the 14th consecutive day, decreasing eight-tenths of a cent to $3.64, its lowest amount since Sept. 20.

The average price has decreased 26 times in the last 27 days, dropping 19.8 cents in that span, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.

The average price is 6.4 cents less than one week ago and 19.2 cents lower than one month ago but 40.7 cents more than one year ago. It has risen 51.4 cents since the start of the year.
