
The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in San Diego County rose two-tenths of a cent Saturday to $3.635, its eighth increase in the last nine days.
The average price is 1.3 cents more than one week ago, 2.4 cents higher than one month ago and 47.9 cents greater than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.
It has increased 51.3 cents since the start of the year because of higher oil prices.
