Chick-fil-A opened its 12th restaurant in San Diego County on Thursday, a new location in Sorrento Valley near the Qualcomm technology hub.
The restaurant at 9370 Scranton Road opened with the Atlanta-based chain’s traditional offer of free food for the first 100 customers.
Jared Ciervo, owner of the franchise, said the restaurant will support 60 new jobs and his team is ready “to serve Sorrento Valley with great service and great food.”
The new 2,892-square-foot restaurant features a dining room with 32 seats and an outdoor patio with 36 seats. Two drive-through lanes will be available along with two designated parking spaces for mobile ordering.
It’s the third Chick-fil-A restaurant to open in San Diego County this year.
