
A trolley car wrapped by a SeaWorld San Diego octopus rolled out of the Imperial Transit Center Wednesday to promote the theme park’s new Ocean Explorer realm.
Ocean Explorer, a new 3-acre exhibit, features five children’s rides and three new aquariums with Japanese spider crabs, California moray eels and giant Pacific octopuses.
It’s one of three new attractions debuting at SeaWorld in 2017, marking the largest rollout of new offerings in the park’s 53-year history.
A growing number of businesses and institutions are are wrapping Metropolitan Transit System trolley cars. In advance of Comic-Con in July, 36 cars have been wrapped to promote new and existing TV shows.
