Pardee Homes on Saturday opened two communities of single-family homes — one traditional and one modern — in Pacific Highlands Ranch in north San Diego.

The Almeria and Olvera communities total 164 homes ranging from 3,100 to 4,300 square feet and priced from $1.3 million.

Pardee describes Almeria as “modern farmhouse designs with classic Spanish architectural features” and Olvera as “Spanish-inspired homes offering modern architecture.”

“We are looking forward to showcasing these exquisite homes to the public,” said Jimmy Ayala, division president of Pardee Homes. “Almeria and Olvera were designed with families in mind, offering a variety of options and customizations to fit the needs of growing families, all with a luxurious and thoughtful touch.”

The new communities are located in the Solana Beach School District. The Pacific Highlands Ranch neighborhood is surrounded by 1,300 of preserved natural habitat
