A man was struck and killed by a hit-and-run driver in Chula Vista, authorities said Monday.
It was reported at about 6:45 p.m. in the 400 block of Broadway, according to Chula Vista Police.
Arriving officers found an unconscious man who had apparently been struck by a southbound vehicle that left the scene, police said.
Officers and paramedics rendered at the scene but the man was pronounced dead, police said.
