Floral delivery giant FTD is planning to hire 500 temporary customer service associates in San Diego to handle the Valentine’s Day rush.

FTD owns San Diego-based ProFlowers, the leading online flower retailer, as well as Shari’s Berries and Cherry Moon Farms and other brands.

The company said the Valentine’s Day positions can lead to future seasonal opportunities in San Diego.

Interviews will take place through Feb. 14. Candidates should visit www.proflowers.com/jobs for information on how to apply.
