A rare new residential development is underway in Rancho Santa Fe with construction of 54 luxury apartments in the Palma de la Reina community near Morgan Run Club & Resort.
The apartments will range from approximately 1,000 to 1,100 square feet and offer two bedrooms and two baths plus covered parking. The design features Italian Renaissance styling with a light Art Deco color palette.
The new residences are the final element in the Whispering Palms master plan, which was created by Newport Pacific in 1962.
“We are so proud to be nearing completion of this final piece of the Palma de la Reina master plan,” said Richard Cavanaugh, president and CEO of Newport Pacific. “We think the community will welcome neighborhood-serving retail and professional services, as well as the opportunity to rent a luxury home in this prestigious community.”
Commercial space in the development will open in the summer, followed by the apartments by the end of November.
