Scripps Health, a nonprofit health care system based in San Diego, will layoff 69 employees it was revealed this week.
The nonprofit’s CEO Chris Van Gorder notified the employees via a company memo, according to a 10News report.
The nonprofit has four local hospitals with more than 13,000 employees. Earlier this month, Fortune Magazine named Scripps Health one of the top 100 companies to work for. It was the only San Diego company on the list.
