Murphy Development is building what may be the largest speculative industrial building in San Diego County as part of its Siempre Viva Business Park in Otay Mesa.
The developer recently tilted up the walls of a 121,970-square-foot structure that is the second-to-last building in the 2.1 million-square-foot business park. Work will be completed in April.
Building 18 is a concrete tilt-up with wide column spacing and truck courts. The building can be divided into leased spaces as small as 40,000 square feet.
Murphy Development is also working on the smaller Brown Field Technology Park in the same area.
The company has developed more than 10 million square feet of industrial and technology parks in San Diego.
