Pardee Homes has broken ground on a new starter-home community in the Ocean View Hills area near Sleep Train Amphitheater in South County.

Three floor plans will be offered in the Parkview community with pricing from the $400,000s. Grand opening is anticipated in early April.

“We anticipate interest will be strong for this exciting new collection of 73 homes in the South County area of San Diego,” said Liz Ramirez, regional director of marketing for Pardee Homes. “These charming, detached two-story homes will feature great room living, four to five bedrooms and attached two-bay garages.”

The Spanish-style homes will range from approximately 1,761 to 2,135 square feet and include Pardee’s package of standard and optional eco-friendly features.

“Each home at Parkview will have its own backyard and private side yard and a front yard that will be maintained by the homeowner’s association,” said Ramirez.

A proposed nine-acre public park is planned that will provide a view of the Otay Valley Regional Park located to the north.

Pardee, which has been building homes since 1921, has eight new home neighborhoods under development in San Diego County.
