KHTS-FM Channel 93.3, one of seven radio stations operated by iHeart Media San Diego, has announced that Steve Kramer will join Geena the Latina in a new morning show called “Kramer and Geena” from 6 to 10 a.m. starting Monday, Jan. 4. Geena was previously paired with Frankie Vinci, who recently relocated to WXJM in Boston.

Kramer previously worked in Phoenix. He also had stints in the Tampa Bay and Panama City markets. Station officials said Geena does not publicly reveal her last name.

Two New Clients for c3 Communications

San Diego public relations firm c3 Communications, now in its 16th year, has announced two new clients, including: Cavalia’s “Odysseo,” a touring show featuring 65 horses and 48 riders, acrobats, aerialists, dancers and musicians; and, Amazing Lash Studio’s two new locations in Mission Valley and Chino, Calif.

Odysseo opens Feb. 3 in Irvine. A 124-foot-tall tent, called the White Big Top, will be erected on a vacant parcel at Interstate 405 and State Route 133.

Founded in 2004, the Houston-based Amazing Lash has more than 70 franchise locations in 16 states.

IABC Members Thinking about ‘Thought Leaders’

San Diego’s International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) chapter will present “So You Want To Be a Thought Leader,” a program about self branding to gain recognition and increase career opportunities, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 20, at UCSD Extension.

Speaking will be Deborah Linggi, principal of San Diego-based Linggi Communications, who will discuss strategies to rise above the ranks and how to tap into the power of thought leadership, along with communication strategies relating to mergers and acquisitions, business shifts, new corporate initiatives, crisis communications and workforce reorganizations.

After serving in senior communication roles at Apple, Hewlett Packard, Illumina, Motorola, Qualcomm and Sun Microsystems, Linggi, a former IABC board member, started her own consulting firm, which focuses solely on executive communications.

PRSA Will Host Mixer at Brooklyn Girl Eatery

The Public Relations Society of America’s San Diego-Imperial Counties chapter will host a networking mixer from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 14, at Brooklyn Girl Eatery, 4033 Goldfinch St., in San Diego’s Mission Hills community. Light appetizers will be hosted but drinks will be available at discounted prices.
